Mr Anthony Davis LLb(hons), Dip, HE (Open)(Director)
Please allow me to introduce myself, I am Mr Anthony Davis.
I started to study law around 7 years ago whilst working long hours as a General Manager for a South of England firm. During my working career I have been faced with many matters that involved legal issues, from consumer, lettings, business acquisitions, through to employment issues and contract disputes. I have also spent many years studying and refining my family law skills, representing myself and supporting others through the Court process.
As well as obtaining my Diploma of Higher Education in Law, 2.1 Bachelor of Law degree, I have spent a great deal of time learning other aspects of the legal profession by attending seminars, training weekends with cross jurisdiction aspects and moot training. I have chosen not to stop there and am currently studying my Masters in Law and Legal Practicing Course. I have also been part of Pro Bono activities with a UK based charity.
I am a member of Honourable Society of the Middle Temple, where I have attended many workshops to grasp a further understanding of the law in England & Wales.
My studies have taken me over the pond to the US and delighted to be chosen as a representative for Amicus ALJ, a small charity that helps provide legal assistance for those facing the death penalty in the United States. I continue my contact with a Penpal on Death Row. Whilst I cannot advise on criminal matters this has allowed me to have a broader view on peoples matters and have allowed me to be un-judgmental and listen intently to the whole story, thus allowing me to advise correctly.
During 2020, I set-up a Facebook Page Curry's PC World where is my Refund offering advice to those who have been given bad customer service, no delivery of goods, no refunds etc... this group has grown and member numbers stay around 2600. The advice resulted in many great success stories by allowing the consumer to exercise their rights and this earned us a slot on the consumer TV show 'Watchdog'.
Due to the large number of queries I receive from the public, mainly from recommendations of people I have helped, I am now operating as a professional Mackenzie Friend and have a small team of administrators managing initial queries and appointments. My team may ask personal questions about your case, this is purely to assess the urgency and allocate the correct amount of time for the initial meeting. All information is processed in the strictest confidence and we are bound by the rules of the ICO.
My objective is to guide you though the minefield of legal documents, untangle Solicitor letters, help complete Court documents, act as a support in the court room and remove the stress and anxiety that litigation goes hand in hand all in a contemporary alternative to solicitors and barristers.
I am able to offer a personal service at times and days that suit the client, supporting you every step of the way.
