Mediation
At Davis & Co we will always utilise mediation as the first line of resolution. As a Law Professional with Resolution (Family Law only) and an ADR OCR Accredited Civil and Commercial mediator, I have been trained to consider this route first.
As with all of our services, our aim is to resolve your matters at the earliest opportunity, reduce unnecessary costs, limit the stress upon our clients and assist parties moving forward.
We work closely with MIAM services throughout the UK, all part of the Family Mediation Council. Almost all of Family and Financial disputes (exemptions omitted) must start with parties engaging with MIAM. At Davis & Co were are able to place you in touch with these valuable services.
We see mediation as a structured and interactive process and ourselves as the third party assisting with the areas of dispute. We focus on your needs, rights and interests of you to reach the optimal solution and maintain open communication.
Most Court applications now ask for confirmation that mediation or ADR has been considered, or that justification is given if this stage has not been completed. As we view mediation as the first step in the process we are able to support you through the court process knowing that you have followed the preferred court pathway.
